Based in Kent

Ruby

she is in Highbridge Somerset, just off the M5. She is 18 months old,Sharpei cross  more rottie in features. Unspayed. Vaccinated, chipped, flead and wormed. she was fine with children in a previous home but less so now not recommended for children household . She has barked a couple of times on walks when a child has screamed or run at her, but never growled or attacked.
She likes other dogs but can be reactive to small dogs that bark, growl or yap etc. She can show jealous behaviour towards other dogs in the home. Attacking my other Girl over treat food, and cuddles once or twice so needs to be the only dog.
She walks well with a halti collar but pulls bad on lead and harness. She doesn't like being left alone, and barks at birds in the garden. She loves a tug game, paws for food. She can be nervous of men initially but has taken to my partner very nicely. So preferred a female only home 😊 She travels well in a car, has good recall off lead but use judgement in areas other dogs frequent, as I say her reactions are often guided by those of other dogs/owners. She chases cats, other than that she's a very affectionate dog, and very protective, I will hate to let her go. She can be defiant regarding livestock on walks and will pull a lot to try to give chase. She has barked at a boy that ran at her screaming once. She can cower at times which I do believe was due to a man as she is wary of men as I said. She can be suspicious of new people but will not be aggressive, she's just inquisitive. she has shed her winter coat completely now. She does whine for a while initially when left. She eats most dry food. She prefers bakers meaty chunks but I give a mix of Aldi worker and meaty chunks and wet food very occasionally as a treat mixed with dry food. She has jealousy issues regarding long lasting treats, will eat hers then steal and guard her sisters. This has resulted in dog fight. She hasn't been in season since I have had her December I got them both. I keep them away from male dogs. She is very affectionate. But I have had to stop furniture being sat on and she isn't allowed in front room because she barks at the builders every day we are on an evolving housing estate. This caused her anxiety. She walked well on a halti although she does get anxious with it and will try to rip it off. Hence why I can't walk her. I have spinal root compression so I am very weak on my left side. She is way too strong for me now.

All our animals receive necessary vet checks, and we address any specific needs, including special diets or basic training, to help them transition seamlessly into their new homes.
